Happy Weekend
A friend's Dad came by 2 weeks ago to visit and she decided to bring him to Gold Coast. She was kind enough to ask me along knowing I haven’t been there and that I’ve wanted to do shopping at the factory outlets, so of course I happily tagged along. Gold Coast is just an hour drive away from Brisbane believe it or not and it’s like world’s apart. Oh gosh it’s such a beautiful city. There are luxurious tall apartments and beachfront houses, with lapping waves on the beach just in front of them. Drove on this bridge overlooking a picturesque scenery of the coast, pristine blue waters, palm trees, beautiful yachts, warm sun rays in the background. Picture perfect! 1st stop was Harbourtown where it is a outlet shopping area selling quality brands at marked down prices! They have the Nike factory store, Adidas, Esprit, and designer brands like Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein having huge discounts! I almost went crazy trotting from one store to another and I busted my bank yet again after that. My most contented buy would be this Fossil watch I bought for freaking AUD40! It would cost me at least SGD150 or even SGD200 in Singapore. It’s gorgeous and I love it. Wanted to buy this other Fossil watch which is even more gorgeous but it’s more suited for formal wear unlike the one I bought where it can be worn casually even. The bimbo me only realise it’s a special watch with a special motion sensor two days after my purchase, thinking it was spoilt or the battery ran out of life and feeling cheated for no reason hahark. The place is huge! Didn’t manage to cover all the shops. Had to go to another area called Surfers Paradise and had to eat my lunch in the car.
Upon reaching, I then understand why it’s called Surfers Paradise. The waves were a few storeys high and the winds were blowing at all directions. Didn't see anyone surfing or swimming though. Probably it was getting dark and it was just too cold.
Oh i didn't take any pictures at Harbourtown because i was too occupied scouting through the discounts. =) Pictures below are all of Surfers Paradise. I love Gold Coast! Definitely coming back again!

Love the lanterns in this restaurant.
Had dinner at a Korean restaurant. Very nice menu cover!
Ooh Pork Ribs...
This the Adidas store that sells the I Love (Adidas logo) Gold Coast. It's gorgeous but a tad too expensive! I'm definitely saving money and getting it the next time i'm there.
I thought they have this in Japan only but they have this public toilet where you are given only 10 minutes to do business before it automatically opens!
