Shopping Extravagance

I like to blog but I hate to blog at the same time. Well I just hate the fact that it’s so freaking slow to upload pictures and when you wanna upload tons of photos the website just dies. So that’s the reason why I’ve not been blogging for some time, and also because I’ve been so busy with uni, and shopping of course! Speaking of shopping, I finally went away from the city, the university, and my own suburb, to other suburbs! Went ‘jalan-jalan’ with Daisy my housemate and bought some stuffs last weekend. 1st stop was Indooroopilly, took the train there. The train stations and the trains themselves look very shabby, but inside its not too bad. I like the seats because they are cushioned. Oh and it's my virgin trip on a train here!

Central train station

Inside the train

Daisy and me. Love the sun's rays effect whatever...

Indooroopilly train station. Love the name Indooroopilly.

Dirty, grimy, deserted underpass to the station.

The day after, Daisy brought me to another surburb called Sunnybank. Oh my God it's littered with Asians i tell you! I seriously didn't think i was in Australia at all. The shops sold almost every god damn Asian food and food products and the salespeople were all Asian. Drivers blast Asian music in their cars even. It was uncommon and seemed quite strange to find whites amongst the Asians. I didn't like my trip there at all.

I like what they did on the blackboard with the coloured chalks. Nice.

Check this out! It's called Little Singapore Restaurant, and it's not even run by Singaporeans! What a fucking fake! They are manned by a Taiwanese or Chinese family and they sell their foods (not Singapore foods by the way) at exorbitant prices. Idiots. This is the kind of thing why so many people here (Australians and other nationalities included) think that Singapore is part of China and that we can't speak English! It's very common for any Singaporean to be told here, "You speak English very well". Duh our 1st language is English dimwit! And they are even more shocked that Singapoeans have Malays like me, presuming all Singaporeans can't confer in English and all look identical like those China pests.

This is Chinatown, in The Valley. China is slowly conquering the world...

Ok, here are some 'perasan' photos. Don't mind me. Well, it's my blog anyway. Lalala....

HAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Oh here's a photo i took of the long, steep road in Highgate Hill after i went over to a friend's house warming party. I love the houses there! GORGEOUS! Including my friend's! It's massive. And the view from the house is so breathtaking, overlooking the city, river and UQ. I guess the suburb is aptly named as the houses are perched high up the hill...
